The Carousel of Fools

(Carousel)

Join the topsy turvy world of the Festival of Fools aboard this slow moving carousel.

At the center of Cathedral Square is the ornate, yet off-kilter, Carousel of Fools. The carousel is fairly ornate. Four fleur-de-lis-accented golden support beams hold up the carousel's lovely purple and yellow-bordered canopy. At the center of the carousel is a large golden spire, reminiscent of Notre Dame's, which has been wrapped in flowing ribbons.

While the actual carousel is beautiful, the animals are...different. Two-ended horses (guests can climb aboard either of its saddles), dogs standing on their hind legs, and pot-themed benches accompany the more classic horses and tent-themed bench seating aboard this carousel.

Clopin narrates both the safety and exit spiels.
