Goal

By completing this PLM, you will better understand blended learning, its various models, and how to implement blended learning at your site or district effectively.

Objectives

  • Develop skills, knowledge, and resources for integrating blended learning in the classroom.

  • Reflect on your current teaching practices and how you can integrate effective blended learning practices with a rigorous and relevant curriculum.

  • Apply the Blended Learning Competency Framework to your instructional plans.

As you complete the blended learning module, you will have reflection activities or questions to complete. Before you continue in this module, click on the icon to print or make a copy of these sheets. You will write your reflections here. As you work your way through the PLM, look for this same icon as an alert for when you should apply your learning to your reflection sheet.

The learning cycle featured in this project is based on the STAR Legacy Cycle developed by the IRIS Center (2013; http://iris.peabody.vanderbilt.edu) and based on the work of Dr. John Branford and colleagues (National Research Council, 2000).
