Yanislav Danchovski

Yanislav Danchovski completed his higher education at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in the specialty "Chemistry". As a student, he took first place at the National Chemistry Olympiads and won two bronze medals from the International Chemistry Olympiad and the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad in 2016. His interests are in the field of computational chemistry and in particular the modeling of electrode materials. The subject of research is complexes of transition metals with quinone ligands and coordination polymers possessing oxidation-reduction activity. He participated in three international and two national conferences, being awarded the best poster award at the 25th Quantum Systems in Chemistry and Physics Conference – Torun, Poland 2022. During his studies, he studied at the University of Gdansk, Poland under the Erasmus programme. At the moment, he is a student in the master's program "Computational Chemistry" of the FCF-SU.
