Lidia Ivanova

Dr. Lidiya Ivanova graduated from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy - Sofia in 2007, majoring in "Inorganic Chemical Technologies", with a specialization in "Technology of Inorganic Substances". Since 2012 works at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry - BAS, Methodical Laboratory of Atomic Spectrometry. Her scientific interests are in the field of analytical chemistry, atomic absorption, and biosorption. In July 2022, she defended his doctoral dissertation "Analytical characterization of natural materials and their research as biosorbents for water purification". To date, she has participated in two projects: "Program for supporting young scientists and doctoral students - 2017", topic: "Investigation of the adsorption properties of plant materials concerning copper (II) ions to purify polluted waters", as a supervisor. The project was awarded with a "Best Project" certificate. The other project is part of the National Program "Healthy Foods for a Strong Bioeconomy and Quality of Life" - MONRMS No. 577/17.08.2018. Dr. Ivanova has a few awards for excellent presentation in poster sessions.
