Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Nadezhda Rangelova completed her Master's degree at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, majoring in "Cellulose, Paper and Packaging". She obtained his doctorate in 2012 in the scientific specialty: 5.10. Chemical technologies (Technology, mechanization and automation of the pulp and paper industry), Dissertation topic: "Synthesis, characterization and application of biopolymer/SiO2 hybrid materials", at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy - Sofia. Since 2017, she has been an Associate Professor in a scientific specialty: 5.10. Chemical technologies (Technology of composite materials) at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy - Sofia. Under her leadership, more than 25 graduates have successfully defended their master's and bachelor's degrees. As a long-time teacher leads lecture courses both for the specialty "Industrial safety" (bachelor and master) - "Analysis, assessment and management of risk", "Radioactivity and radiometry", "Analysis and control of pollution of the working environment", "Factors of the working environment" etc., as well as general education "Chemical productions", "Fundamentals of chemical and metallurgical productions" and "Production safety". There are three specializations abroad: 4 months at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, 5 months at the Technical University of Applied Sciences - Wildau, Germany under the Erasmus mobility program and one specialization in Germany, Technical University of Applied Sciences - Wildau, under the ERASMUS program - Mobility of teachers and invited staff from enterprises for teaching. She was a team member of a successfully completed project funded by the Bulgarian National Science Fund (BNSF) (DDVU 02-96/2010) and a coordinator of 7 projects funded by UCTM.
