Hristo Rasheev, Dr.,
Postdoc researcher
Dr. Hristo Rasheev completed his secondary education at NNMG "Acad. Lubomir Chakalov", Chemistry class. As a student, he placed first in one national Olympiad and two national competitions in chemistry, and in 2012 he won a bronze medal each at the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad and at the 46th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad. He continued his higher education at SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" and successively obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry (2016) and a master's degree in Computational Chemistry (2018). Since 2014, he has been a member of the Laboratory of Quantum and Computational Chemistry at FCF-SU, where he prepared his bachelor's and master's theses on the study of non-alternating hydrocarbons as anode materials for Na-ion batteries (bachelor's degree) and solvation of mixed electrolytes (master's degree). In 2022, he defended his doctoral dissertation on "Molecular modeling of components for post-lithium ion batteries" with scientific supervisors Prof. Dr. Alya Tajer and Prof. Dr. Radostina Stoyanova. He participated in several successfully completed projects at BNSF-SU (three) and BNSF-MON (one) and is currently a member of two national projects. He is a scientific consultant on one bachelor's and two master's theses. He is currently a Postdoctoral student at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and works on new materials for lithium-ion and post-lithium-ion batteries.
