Bilyana Petrova

Assist. Prof. Dr. Bilyana Petrova, received her master's degree in chemistry at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Faculty of Chemistry, Sofia, in 2000. In 2008, she successfully defended her dissertation on the topic "Synthesis and characterization of pitches for the production of carbon materials by modification of products from the processing of coal and agricultural waste" and obtained the educational and scientific degree "doctor" in the scientific specialty "Technology of natural and synthetic fuels'. From 2010 to the present, she holds the position of Assistant Professor in the "Chemistry of Solid Fuels" laboratory at IOCCF-BAS. The total number of Dr. Petrova's publications is 47. The noted citations over the years are 585. In the last 5 years, she participated in 5 projects - 2 with national funding, 2 with international projects, and 1 with European funding. The scientific results have been presented in more than 100 participations at international and national scientific forums.
