Ivanka Stoycheva

Assist. Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivanka Stoycheva received her bachelor's degree in "Engineering Ecology and Environmental Protection" in 2012, and in 2013 she completed her higher education as a master's degree in "Natural and Synthetic Fuels" at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, Sofia. In 2014, she started working in the "Chemistry of Solid Fuels" laboratory at the Institute of Organic Chemistry with a Center of Phytochemistry at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and in 2016 she successfully defended his dissertation on the topic "Synthesis of carbon materials based on organic compounds " and acquires the educational and scientific degree "doctor" in scientific specialty "Technology of natural and synthetic fuels". From September 2019 to the present, she holds the position of Assistant Professor in the "Chemistry of Solid Fuels" laboratory at IOCCF-BAS. The total number of Dr. Stoicheva's publications is 35. She participates in 14 projects - 4 with National funding, 8 - international projects, and 2 with European funding. In addition, Dr. Stoicheva is the head of two successfully completed projects: one project financed by the Bulgarian National Science Fund - 2019 and one project under the National Program "Young Scientists and Postdoctoral Researchers" (2018-2021), funded by the Ministry of Education and Science. The obtained scientific results were presented at 77 participations in international and national scientific forums, of which 23 were oral reports and 54 posters. Dr. I. Stoicheva is the winner of the Award for the best presentation at the conference "Ecological Products for Health", Velingrad 2020, and the Certificate for 1st place in the 18th Scientific Poster Session for young scientists, students, and doctoral students, UCTM 2021. She is the organizer of two scientific conferences "Ecological Products for Health", Velingrad 2020, and the 8th International Conference on Scientific Research of the Black Sea Countries, Sofia, 2022.
