Truth of Faith

Truth of Faith

What faith and what truth

If you have faith, what kind of faith is it, and what do you believe in?

Most people do believe in something, but that does not make them faith acceptable to God.

Man must know that ultimately that will be the most important thing in our lives: to have a faith acceptable to the One True God.

Works of God

The invisible perfections of God, his eternal power and his divinity, are seen as to the eye, since the creation of the world, when one considers them in His works. So they are inexcusable.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse makes known the work of his hands. The Creator Jehovah or Jahveh had said of him-

even: “I am Jehovah. This is my name; and I will not give my glory to any other, nor my praise to graven images. (Isaiah 42: 8) and Exodus 20: 7: 7 “You must not take the name of Jehovah your God unworthily, for Jehovah will not hold him unpunished who takes his name unworthily.

Giving belief in the promises of God

It is in the promises of God that humans must give their beliefs. When God spoke to Moses he said, “I am Jehovah. 3 I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as Almighty God, but as far as my name Jehovah was concerned, I did not make myself known to them.

4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their dwellings in foreign lands, where they resided as strangers. 5 I myself have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians enslaved, and I remember my covenant. 6 “Therefore say to the sons of Israel,‘ I am Jehovah, and I will truly bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you out of their slavery; yes, I will claim you with outstretched arms and with great judgments. 7 Yea, I will take you for myself as a people, and I will be God for you; and truly you will know that I am Jehovah your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of Egypt. 8 Yea, I will bring you into the land, concerning which I lifted up my hand, taking an oath to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and truly I will give it to you as a thing to own. I am Jehovah. ’” (Exodus 6: 2-8)

Faith is the sure expectation of things that we hope for

Faith is the sure expectation of things that we hope for, the obvious demonstration of realities that we do not or do not see. It was by means of that [faith], indeed, that he was witnessed to the men of old. By faith we understand that the systems of things have been put in order by the word of God, so that what we see came from things that did not appear.

We are changed to be justified by faith in the Atonement Sacrifice. Believe that it is the righteousness of God which was manifested without the law, the law, and the prophets bearing witness to him; the righteousness of God for all and over all who believe.

We have peace with Jehovah, Jahveh our God who gave the Messiah our Lord Jesus Christ.
