We can run T8 maps with just two people, and once you get enough links / aspect, you can start soloing them. T8 maps are unique from T1-T7 in that it spawns a “Lore Boss” that is essentially a mini-mini boss. The boss drops around 25K gold, a core, scroll, plant chemicals, and an extract. The T8 chest itself drops about the same loot as well, in addition to a random mastery chain link: Bronze (60K), Silver (500K), or Gold (2.3M).
To create a T8 map, you have convert research materials into Lore Pages, and then collect between 10-15 lore pages of the same Lore Book. When the book is filled out, you get a T8 Map (300K value) + a random mastery chain link: Bronze, Silver, or Gold.
You can multi-client in “Wilderness” PvM, but with tmaps they have it nerfed where you can’t have 2 accounts from the same IP dealing damage. If you do, it nerfs it to 1 damage per hit. However, you can still have an alt to the side as your 120 lockpicker with maybe tracking for reds and magery for healing.

Guild T8 vs. Guild Bought T8 vs. Personal T8
**Guild T8 **- Created from completing a lore book from our research materials we collect as a guild. Gold is sent to guild treasury, loot is distro’d between participating parties, and the links are given a first right of refusal to guild members with a 25% discount to market price.
Guild Bought T8 – Sometimes we buy T8s from vendors (300K). With these T8s our aim is to recoup costs. If a bronze link drops all loot + gold is kept by the guild with the intent to sell to try to make up the costs, but it will likely only recoup 200K. If Silver or Gold is dropped, link is sold to recoup costs and loot is distro’d to attending guild members.
Personal T8 – If you buy a T8 on your own or get one through Lore Pages, it is up to you on distro or not. I still encourage guild members to help each other out with personal T8s, even if no distro will be had, because it helps out the guild.
