Butler Societies Optimiser Step-by-Step Guide
The Butler Societies Optimiser helps streamline your society tasks, making it easier to earn rewards efficiently. Follow these key steps:
1. Enter Your Character’s Skills – Input your skills into Butler to get accurate task recommendations.
2. Select Your Weekly Jobs – Choose the best society tasks based on your character’s abilities.
3. Use the Job Collector Script – Automate picking up your assigned jobs at the Societies Hall.
4. Use the Crafting Queue Script – Generate an optimized crafting queue to complete tasks efficiently.
5. Complete Jobs & Earn Society Points – Turn in tasks, earn points, and reap the rewards!
Each step will be covered in detail below to ensure you get the most out of the Butler Societies Optimiser.
1. Enter Your Character’s Skills
The first step in using the Butler Societies Optimiser is to input your character’s skills. This ensures that the optimiser can generate accurate and efficient society task recommendations.
Setting Up Your Butler Profile
Go to the Butler Societies Optimiser and navigate to the skill entry section.
Butler allows you to create up to 3 profiles, which can be used strategically:
The recommended approach is one profile per account for better organization.
If you have multiple crafting characters, it’s best to combine all crafting skills onto a single Butler profile to simplify task management.
Why Keep Crafting Skills on One Character?
Society tasks often involve crafting multiple item types.
A single crafting character reduces the need for switching between characters, making the process more efficient.
If your crafting skills are spread across multiple characters, combine them into a single Butler profile for streamlined task recommendations.
By properly setting up your skills and profiles, you ensure that Butler provides the best job suggestions for your account.
Next Step: Now that your skills are entered, it’s time to select your weekly society jobs!
2. Select Your Weekly Jobs
After entering your character’s skills in Step 1, it’s time to select your weekly society jobs.
Select Your Top Jobs
By selecting jobs with favorable profit margins and having all the necessary resources on hand, you can maximize your earnings while completing society tasks.
Predicted Profits
For each job, Butler predicts the profits you can earn.
These predictions are based on the consumables needed and the current market prices of the required items.
This allows you to evaluate whether a task will be profitable before committing to it.
Before You Start Crafting…
Make sure you have the necessary resources to complete your tasks!
Check Your Shopping List
The Butler Societies Optimiser provides a shopping list of consumables required for each job.
Review this list and ensure you have enough resources to complete the tasks you’ve selected.
If you’re missing any materials, you can acquire them through crafting, farming, or purchasing from other players.
Select multiple profiles to see the total resources needed for all jobs.
Next Step: Now that you’ve gathered your materials, it’s time to generate the Job Collection Script!
3. Use the Job Collector Script
Now that you’ve selected your jobs and checked your shopping list, it’s time to collect your jobs at the Societies Hall using the Job Collector Script!
Generate the Job Collection Script
From the Butler Societies Optimiser website, generate the Job Collection Script for your selected jobs.
Copy the generated script and then paste it into Razor.
Visit the Societies Hall
Head over to the Societies Hall in the game, where all the crafting society job NPCs are located.
Run the Script
Once at the hall, run the Job Collector Script in Razor.
As you walk around the NPCs, the script will automatically pick up your selected jobs from the crafting society job NPCs.
It’s that easy! You don’t have to manually interact with each NPC – just let the script do the work for you. Magic!
Next Step: After collecting your jobs, it’s time to create your crafting queue with the Crafting Queue Script!
4. Use the Crafting Queue Script
Once your jobs are collected, it’s time to organize your crafting queue for efficient task completion!
Return to Your Inn Room or House
To start, you’ll need to be in a safe crafting space.
You can either return to your inn room or house to craft, or if you don’t have either of those, craft directly out of your bank box.
Crafting from Your Stock Pile or Bank
By default, Butler recommends crafting from your Stock Pile.
If you prefer, you can uncheck the Stock Pile option to craft out of your backpack or bank box instead.
Select the crafting skills for the current character you want to craft with.
Generate and Execute the Crafting Queue Script
Once you’ve selected the proper crafting setup (Stock Pile, backpack, or bank), generate the Crafting Queue Script in Butler.
Copy and paste the script into Razor, then execute it to start building your crafting queue.
Fill in the quantities when prompted to do so by the script.
Your queue will now be filled with the jobs you selected earlier.
If you are not using a stock pile click the Set All button in the crafting queue gump and select a container in your bank box or house that contains your materials.
Finally select Begin Crafting to craft your items according to the order you’ve set! They will be automatically turned in and count towards the society.
Next Step: After your queue is set up, it’s time to complete your jobs and earn society points!
5. Complete Jobs & Earn Society Points
The final step is to complete your jobs in Butler and earn society points!
Check Off Completed Jobs
As you finish each job, check it off in your job list to keep track of your progress.
Gold Earned
You can view how much gold you’ve earned for each completed job.
This is a great way to see your profits and plan your next moves.
Society Points
You’ll also see how many society points you’ve accumulated.
Exchange Points for Tools
In most cases, it’s recommended to exchange your society points for Bronze, Silver, and Gold Chain Reforging Tools.
These tools typically provide the best return for your points, helping you maximize your crafting efficiency.
What’s Next? Prioritizing Skills for Maximum Gold
Once you’ve mastered the basics of using the Butler Societies Optimiser, the next step is prioritizing the right crafting skills to earn the most gold!
1. GM Tailor – The Key to Big Profits
Tailoring is highly recommended as the first Grand Master skill to focus on.
It’s relatively cheap and easy to raise, and provides the biggest profits early on.
A small investment will pay off quickly – you can expect to earn back your initial investment in just a few weeks.
After that, you can expect to earn 200-300K gold per week per account from tailoring alone!
Train all the other remaining skills to 50 using a Town Trainer.
2. Inscription or Alchemy – Next Best Skills
After tailoring, I recommend focusing on either Inscription or Alchemy to GM.
Both are excellent options for crafting, and they will complement your GM Tailor to maximize profits.
3. Two GM Crafting Skills per Account
Once you have a GM Tailor and one more crafting skill (Inscription or Alchemy), you will be in a strong position to generate consistent gold.
Aim for at least two GM crafting skills per account, and from there, the process will be much smoother!
Congratulations!
By completing jobs efficiently and exchanging points for valuable tools, you can make steady progress and enjoy the rewards from Crafting Societies!
