Stainton

Added November 6 Stainton 2018

This is a long section through the base of an old canal. It seems to be multi-core orange duct and in good enough soil, so why is it in an extra layer of purple ducting?

Well the first clue is that Nick and James are there from B4RN, so there must be a good reason, rather than it just being some spendthrift group of volunteers. This is the core route into Stainton and therefore particularly important. If ever there was a problem with this whole section, or there needed to be some sort of upgrade this would be a difficult section to dig up again, especially as one day there might be a whole canal on top of the duct. With the purple outer duct in place, there should be the possibility of feeding orange duct through at any later stage.
