The Academics and Research (A&R) Department promotes the proliferation and appreciation of psychological learning through academic-based approaches such as research, lectures, and academic support.

The roles and responsibilities of the Vice President for Academics and Research include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintaining the overall internal integrity of the department, which includes internal communication, task delegation and execution, and operations within the department
Maintaining the quality assurance, schedule, and research direction of the Psyche Today publication
Maintaining communication with the Ateneo Psychology Department for academic inquiries support
Maintaining communication with Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services and the Ateneo Center for Organization Research and Development (CORD) for extracurricular opportunities
The roles and responsibilities of the Associate Vice President for Research & Development include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting in identifying needs or skills necessary for members within A&R;
Creating and facilitating department member workshops and discussions for research-related matters;
Assisting in handling and overseeing Psyche Today and its team;
Assisting in handling and overseeing Psych X webinars; and
Assisting in handling and managing the deployment of A&R members.

The roles and responsibilities of the Associate Vice President for Academic Support include, but are not limited to, the following:
Updating the online EnPSYCHlopedia library;
Coordinating with the APSC Block Representatives for academic support;
Maintaining communication with the Psychology Department;
Assisting in identifying needed academic assistance for each year level; and
Assisting in planning and executing initiatives from the identified needed assistance.
