We organize projects and initiatives that are either for the benefit of our members, the Loyola Schools community, and/or our partner institutions. For more details on our projects this year, check out our Projects and Initiatives page.
There is a misconception that we are just a psychology org, or just a mental health org, but the two aspects are closely related to one another! We believe in the importance of psychology as a science in today’s generation, and we advocate for mental health awareness in our nation. Thus, we consider and use both aspects in all our efforts.
Some of your rights as a member of Ateneo Psyche include being informed and updated on matters concerning the org, proposing projects that will help further the org, and even suggesting amendments to our charter documents! For a more comprehensive list, please see Article IV within the 2020 Constitution of Ateneo Psyche.
Since we are a home organization, we do not have a semestral retention system! Instead, we have a Points System in place, which aims to incentivize member participation. Signing up for a membership in Psyche will last one whole year, although members will have to renew their membership for the next year if they do plan to join the organization again. Since we are a home organization, we do not have a retention system!
Of course! Even if you’re not a psychology major, but you share the same values and passions or want to, then our doors are open to you.
We have a number of systems in place that should give you opportunities to be more involved! You may either be a department member or a floating member, and either can provide avenues for growth. You may contact any officer for more information!

We value development within and among our members, and do our best to impart our advocacy and how to live it out. By being more involved, you get to hone your skills (e.g., decision-making, problem-solving, delegating, organizing, etc.) while meeting new people and taking on a new adventure. The skills and experiences you will gain from Ateneo Psyche may be helpful in many ways beyond the organization!
Check out this page and download the Template for Member Project Proposal within the Inbound Documents folder! From there, follow the instructions on the first two pages and accomplish the document. Should you have any questions or clarifications with regards to this procedure or with filling out the proposal, feel free to contact your departmental Vice President, or any officer from the Office of the Secretary-General and the Office of the President!
Applications for the Executive Board open towards the end of the academic year. Applications for the Central Board, on the other hand, are opened once the Executive Board has been filled.
