PSYCH X

The Psych X is a set of webinars open to both members and non-members of Ateneo Psyche which showcases the interdisciplinary nature of psychology as a means to navigate psychology in the Filipino’s turbulent society and indicate its role in nation-building.

Last year, episode 1: Salitaan delved into the nature of psychology as a field that can be found in our everyday lives through the interchanging of perspectives. Speakers imparted their knowledge on psychology’s role in addressing the issues that the Philippines is currently facing, and how psychology can contribute toward our country's social transformation. The second episode of the series, Kalinangan, endeavored to accentuate psychology’s nature as a discipline that can serve as a median between a culture and its people. Through the extensive knowledge shared by the speakers, participants were able to appreciate the indigenization of Sikolohiyang Pilipino at a much higher level. "Psych X: Salitaan was the first ever event I headed for Psyche and it really was close to my heart.
