Alright! You've cashed your first piece! Now what?
Here we'll go over things you can buy, where your Star Dust counts are kept, and other assorted things to do with the in game currency!
As you've seen on the previous pages, the currency we use here in ASH is called Star Dust!
You'll be collecting and using these to purchase more characters, accessories for said characters, and extra bits and bobs along the way. We've already gone over how to gain Dust and how much you'll gain depending on what you submit, but we also have a secondary currency; Stars.
Stars are purchased just like anything else on this list - with Dust - but are used for larger purchases, and are mostly a way for staff and pack leaders to vaguely keep track of players who may be looking to create a new character, mateship, litter, etc.
Star Dust, much like in many other ARPGs, are awarded to the individual character, and do not collect in a pot for the player to use. This means the Dust you cash in for Character A cannot be used to purchase things for Character B.
The exception for this are using Stars across characters for Character Slot purchases, purchasing a mutation or companion upon purchasing said new character, and using Dust from another character to reactivate an inactive* character.
*An inactive character's bank is inaccessible until they are reactivated/taken out of retirement.
First things first;
How do I purchase things with my Star Dust?
Remember how we cashed in your submission on the last page? Well sending in a purchase ticket is almost identical to that.
In your personal cashing ticket, simply follow the instructions below in order to complete a cashing note!
Be sure to tag the correct pack leader if you are purchasing a rank up or pack prompt.
You can purchase multiple things in one note (provided your character has the funds), just be sure to separate them to save the staff teams eyeballs!
Thank you!
If you're buying more than one of the same item, please list each of them.
For purchasable items, please list out the specific plants/feathers/etc from the pack territories pages so we can make sure they're common and don't need to be purchased through Vanity instead.
That's all there is to it!
Second things second;
How do I keep track of my Star Dust, items and purchases?
Upon handing in your first note to cash your Dust, you will be assigned and given a link to your very own player inventory sheet. Here, you will have a basic but comprehensive list of your characters, their currency counts, and their inventory.
You also have tabs at the bottom of your sheet that will have your submissions listed for you, and a place for your retired character to reside.
Every character will start with 25 Star Dust.
As a player you don't need to worry - staff will update this sheet with every applicable note you send!
You will be able to see if you are safe for the month, and which characters have been saved in the seasonal activity check. These were designed to be 'at a glance', so while they might not be the prettiest, they do the job.
While we do privately hand out the links, you're more than welcome to share your personal inventory link with whoever you want!
As you can see, most of your details will be listed on your inventory sheet! We'll be going over what's shown and what it's for.
The first thing you might see is this little spreadsheet is whether or not you have submitted anything for the month. This is pretty self explanatory, and if you are safe, it will display a green 'Safe' button.
Alternatively, here with similar buttons, you can see which characters you've saved for the Seasonal Activity Check!
Here, under your characters, you'll be able to see how much Star Dust said character has and how many Stars they have.
Dust is listed on the left, while Stars are on the right.
Under your currency, you'll have a list of items that character has in their inventory!
Again, these are updated by Staff - you don't have to do anything but send in the proper ticket messages.
If you think a count is incorrect, something isn't updated on your sheet, or you're having any other problems, please submit a ticket in the Discord server!
Stars, as briefly mentioned above, are our secondary currency.
Staff use them to keep a vague eye on who might be looking to buy a new character slot, a mateship bond, or a litter. This way, we can get things set up as players purchase the Stars.
Please keep in mind that mateship bonds and litters must be purchased and paid for by both players involved!
175 Star Dust
A short list of things you can currently purchase, and their prices!
As of right now, you are limited to purchasing accessories and items locked within your packs climate and geographical location - if your pack is mountain locked, you won't be finding any burrowing owl feathers, etc.
If in doubt, consult your pack information page or ask your pack leader!
Keep in mind while these can be used as accessories, you might want to hang on to some of these should you ever want to commune with your packs' religious deities, or partake in certain rituals...
Keep in mind; if an item is used as an accessory, but is then used as an offering, said item will be 'consumed' and will no longer be available to be worn on your character!
Outlanders must pay Vanity's fees for accessories, these prices are for pack wolves.
❗ ❗ ❗ When purchasing, please list out the exact animal, plant, or insect common to your pack that you are purchasing!❗ ❗ ❗
Feathers
Feathers come in bundles of 2, so for each 'purchase' you may choose 2 feathers to add to your characters inventory and to use as an accessory on your character.

Fangs, Claws and Antlers
Fangs are single purchase, so one 'purchase' gives you one fang, claw or antler to add to your characters inventory and to use as an accessory on your character.
