Injuries
If you are giving your character moderate to heavy scarring (scars that include more than the usual cuts you might get in a fight - anything involving more than a missing ear), this must be cleared with staff beforehand.
If you are purchasing an injury, it must be realistic - no exposed skull, bones or gaping holes that would simply not allow the wolf to survive.
Any and all injuries larger than the aforementioned missing ear or tail tip costs 50 Star Dust.
Injuries that we allow;
Removed ear(s)
Removed eye(s)
Tail amputation (up to 75%)
Removed teeth
Large body scaring (up to 40%)

Mutations
Tier 1
Tier 1 attributes are limited to TWO per player, and can be applied to new applications to the group.
If you are a new applicant, you can choose ONE of the following three attributes to add to your entry character.
Companions are counted separately - you are limited to TWO tier 1 mutations across all your characters' companions.
While your first character can come into the group with one chosen mutation from Tier 1, anything from the other tiers must be purchased with your character and cannot be applied to first characters.
Ears
Folded ears, missing ears, etc
75 Star Dust
Eyes
Missing/blind eyes, pupil mutations, etc
75 Star Dust
Tails
Missing tails, nubs, half tails, etc
75 Star Dust
Toes
Missing toes. Exactly what's on the tin.
75 Star Dust
Tier 2
Tier 2 attributes are limited to TWO per player.
Companions are counted separately - you are limited to TWO tier 2 mutations across all your characters' companions.
Missing Limbs
Born - a missing limb would not be a realistic injury to survive.
150 Star Dust
Etc
Extra thumbs, teeth, etc.
150 Star Dust
Tier 3
Tier 3 attributes are limited to ONE per player.
Companions are counted separately - you are limited to ONE tier 3 mutation across all your characters' companions.
Albinism
Very very little to no pigmentation, effecting either the entire body or just the eyes. Causes sensitivity to sunlight and can cause vision problems.
250 Star Dust
Melanism
Increased pigmentation, resulting in much darker or entirely black skin and fur.
250 Star Dust
Leucism
A partial loss of pigmentation, resulting in paler fur and skin. Leucism should not be mistaken for piebalding.
250 Star Dust
Albinism Examples
A note on Albinism in ASH!
In ASH we have two types of albinism available for purchase - full, and ocular.
They're both what they say on the tin, with full affecting the entire animal, while ocular only affects the eyes. Both would have visual sensitivity to sunlight, with the full body version being susceptible to sunburn and thinner fur.
Full albinism
Ocular albinism
Melanism Examples
A note on Melanism in ASH!
Melanism as a mutation is just the extreme pigmentation in a creature that makes them extremely dark. This COULD just mean that it's a dark or black wolf, and you can absolutely make a dark coated or black wolf without the mutation - the mutation is for people who maybe want a dark pup out of a light coloured family (though you do not need the mutation) and want something Official TM to say that they have a mutation or something a little special about them, or any other fun ideas.
Just some extra flavour text!
Melanistic wolves can still have markings, and there are many ways to make one! Sometimes it's fun to do what their regular 'genetic' design might be and slap a dark filter over them.
Leucism Examples
A note on Leucism in ASH!
Leucism is essentially just the loss of pigmentation in certain parts of the body, or the entire body! It differentiates from Chimerism or Piebalding by being uniform and symmetrical on the body, as seen below.
Much like melanism in ASH, you are free to make a partially-light coated or light wolf without the mutation - the mutation is for people who maybe want a lighter pup out of a dark coloured family (though you do not need the mutation) and want something Official TM to say that they have a mutation or something a little special about them, or any other fun ideas.
Just some extra flavour text!
Tier 4
Tier 4 is limited to two in the ENTIRE group.
Chimerism
Chimerism in ASH does not include any mutations with two heads/faces, multiple limbs, etc - it is more so a mashup of pelt, pad and eye colours.
Chimera characters are exempt from several of the character creation rules, but colours must still be realistic.
TBA
Piebalding
Piebalding is a pattern of unpigmented spotting or patches on an otherwise pigmented background. Wolves who have this will be their base colour with bright, non-uniform/asymmetrical splashes of white throughout their coat.
Like Chimerism, they are exempt from several character creation rules.

Chimerism Examples
A note on Chimerism in ASH!
Chimerism is the fusion of two or more separate zygotes fuse while still in gestation. This causes a mishmash of genetics and coat patterns appearing on one wolf. They can even have one eye affected by albinism, if one zygote was affected in utero, or melanism, etc etc. (If you have questions, just toss it into staff!)
Chimerism is one of two mutations (the other being piebalding) that allow severe asymmetry on your character design as seen below.
Piebalding Examples
A note on Piebalding in ASH!
Piebalding, simply put, is just giant swashes of non pigmentation splashed all over your characters coat. They are generally random and uniform in appearance, with blotches of white. Please note that while piebalding removes pigment in the fur, the animal usually does not suffer from albinism near paw pads, noses or eyes, as the body still produces melanin.
Piebalding is one of two mutations (the other being chimerism) that allow severe asymmetry on your character design as seen below.
