March [Midyule]
Despite the lengthening days, the tundra remains under heavy snowfall. This year has been wrought with blizzards that keep wolves tucked into their beds and bracing against the cold.
Regardless, Valera announces the Midyule festivities. With the Blight over, it is time they prepare for their journey North. Feasting on hard game such as boar, muskox or quick northern hares that scamper just out of reach. Wolves must lean on one another to pack up whatever essentials they wish to bring to their northern home.
Shepherds must prepare the elk. Druids must wrap herbs for the travels. Wardens must remain diligent in their protection.

April 2026
They are late in their travels north. Walking with a weakened herd is no easy feat.
While the wolves cross the northern Winterwood, something odd seems to happen. A fog descends from the Gloamridge like a thick, massive wave. It rivals the deep fog to their south and leaves the elk feeling uneasy.
The closer one ventures to the mountains, the thicker the fog grows. One would do well to tread with caution, for not all paths are marked.
May 2026
The beginning of May sees the wolves having reached their summer home, Summarheim. While snow still clings stubbornly to shaded patches beneath deciduous trees, the fields are in full bloom. Flowers litter their home and offer the wolves a warm welcome.
With their appearance, however, comes allergies. Buzzing bees fill the air despite the crisp winds, pollen in full swing while fur sheds for the summer heat.
For the first time in a long time, everything is entirely peaceful.

All items required for these Omens are common items found within Vøskarig.
All of these purchases have a set list of good, neutral and negative associations with them. It is up to players to figure out which is which for each omen.
NATURE OMEN
The tundra is living organism just as much as the next creature. With high peaks and low valleys, the wolves of Vøskarig are expected to maintain a balance.
In order to do so, they must stay alert to their surroundings. The forests, the mountains and shores speak to them in times of distress or emergence.
But will your wolf listen?
THYRE OMEN
Thyre is the benevolent first leader of Vøskarig. Depicted as a genderless wolf with dark colours, they are typically true-neutral in terms of omens. They are revered by current-day Vøskarig members for their bravery and courage, as well as the peace and prosperity they offered the Herd. Their omens are typically positive with lots of room for interpretation.
“I call upon the harbinger of peace, Thyre, to shepherd my fate.”
FJALL OMEN
Fjall is the oldest deity that predates Thyre and their siblings. When Vøskarig had broken away from their mother-pack, Fjall was the primary deity that was revered and worshipped. Omens from Fjall are typically benevolent in nature and speak of storms to come. Most omens will tell a character of pack-afflicting weather, though sometimes if a wolf is particularly favoured, a part of their future may be shared.
“I call upon the herald of storms, Fjall, to guide me in my travels.”
GRAEL OR RANVEIR OMEN
The older siblings of Thyre who lead their respective wolves into battle. Though they are not considered deities by any means, it is still possible for someone with maleficent intent to ‘summon’ them or seek their guidance.
Their omens are typically at random, for they are so closely linked together that it is impossible to tell at first glance who has been summoned until the omen has come to pass.
“I call upon the true leaders of Olde, [Grael or Ranveir], to guide my blood into their future.”
