The Student Volunteer Army

Asdah has been part of the SVA since 2019.

The SVA Service Award is available, free of charge, to any student at a participating NZ Secondary School. Students can take part in groups or as individuals and are awarded a pin for initial volunteering hours before logging additional efforts online.

School, community and in-home volunteering hours all qualify and are combined into a single record of service. This can be downloaded for CVs, job, scholarship and university applications.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Simply register at https://service.sva.org.nz/ and start logging in your hours. When you have logged in your first 5 hours you will receive a Members Pin.

Member Pin: 5 hours
Bronze Pin: 32 hours
Silver Pin: 250 hours
Gold Pin: 500 hours
