Photoshop Techniques

Head Split Reveal

Use the "head split" technique on an image of yourself. Have objects/things/words that tell us about you being "revealed" out of the opening. 

Turn in your google slides as a .PDF and you photoshop file as a .JPG & .PSD


Google Slide must include

-minimum 3 sketches

-images you used in your project or for inspiration

-your final imported as a JPG

Hybrid Animals

Copy of Animal Hybrids Photoshop

Combine animals. Create 3 unique animal combinations.

Optional Composition: Organize them into a triptych.

Choose your Own Adventure

Individually or with a partner, research a new photoshop tutorial on Youtube, Adobe Challenges, or anywhere else you see a new technique demonstrated

Make a “instructor sample”

Write up what are the goals.

Example: Students will know how to use layer masks to make an illusion of something being split apart.

Teach the technique to the class with 2 of the following methods

  • Create a video (example)

  • Written Instructions (example)

  • Visual Instructions

  • Demonstration in class on smartboard

What criteria will be required for the students to meet?

Create a Google Drive Folder for work to be submitted to_____________

Alliteration Scene

Use the first letter of your first name and fill in the blank.

Adjective - noun - verb - noun - place - adjective - noun

Example: Barbie battling Bigfoot in a Bouncehouse with Bawling boys

Make an 8.5 x 11 in document in photoshop
