We’re all still learning about the impact of the pandemic on young people’s mental health. We do know that many young people have struggled in recent months and are in greater need of support than before. And yet, some schools and universities have seen a marked decrease in student engagement with their well-being and mental health offerings. Join this webinar to learn from school and university representatives who will share experiences and approaches to encourage students to sign up for virtual well-being activities and social events, and making it as easier for students to reach out for mental health support. Includes short presentations and Q&A.
As schools and universities prepare for the summer and some start to reopen campuses, this webinar provides time for reflection and sharing of expertise between school and university leaders around the globe. Panellists from member schools and universities will discuss the impact they are seeing on their student populations, how they have prioritised well-being, challenges they have come across in doing so, and how to identify and support those students that have been particularly impacted by the pandemic.
Transitions always present a risk for student well-being. The disruption and uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus outbreak has made student transition into higher education even more difficult. This webinar is part of a series that brings together high schools and universities from around the globe to share learning, ask questions of each other, and discuss ideas about how best to support students during this time. Learn from experienced university guidance counsellors about some of the unique challenges their seniors are facing this year, how they are supporting students, plus ideas for how universities can adapt transitional programming and campus practices to best support incoming students.
The mental health impact of the pandemic could be profound and long-lasting. People are experiencing fear, uncertainty, and so much grief and loss. Against this background, two clinical psychologists look at how schools and universities can become powerful protective factors and vital sources of support for both students and educators during this time.
This webinar supports school leaders, governors and owners around the world as they plan to restart on-campus learning. They face a variety of challenges and operational considerations related to the school property and facilities. Thorough planning and communication are essential. Our webinar panel includes those leading campus openings whose expertise will help others who are approaching the same experience. You’ll hear case studies and presentations and ask questions in a real-time Q&A.
