1.2 Academic Support System
The support system for learning and teaching at UNP Labschool is well-structured to assist both students and teachers in achieving academic excellence. During my observation, I noticed that teachers frequently use projectors for PowerPoint presentations to enhance understanding of the subject material. However, not all classrooms have dedicated projectors, as these are not yet distributed to each room. Since the classrooms currently in use are temporary, the school is still assessing the best way to install projectors in each class permanently. If a teacher needs to use a projector, it can be borrowed from the school’s media resources.
In addition to projectors, teachers often utilize whiteboards or blackboards to provide clearer explanations for certain topics. This method of combining digital and traditional teaching tools is consistent across all classes and effectively supports diverse teaching styles.
The school also provides strong internet connectivity via Wi-Fi, allowing teachers and students to access online resources during classes. Outside the classroom, UNP Labschool offers a variety of facilities, including a well-stocked library that supports students' academic needs and a canteen that serves food for students and staff. Furthermore, students receive learning package books to complement their studies, providing additional materials for practice and review.
Overall, these academic support systems at UNP Labschool ensure that students have access to comprehensive learning resources, while teachers have the tools they need to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
