In a sinking economy gripped by nationalist fervour, the ordinary job-seeker Amfy B. N. Jose finds work in the government’s aggressive public campaign against the elusive vigilante, Frogman. Eager for stability and success, Amfy manufactures fear through fabricated news and strategic misinformation, quickly rising through the ranks of his crony-capitalist superiors. Yet by night, he is revealed to be the very figure he is tasked to condemn. Caught between aspiration and compromise, Amfy embodies the contradictions of our times—half-belief, half-doubt; convenience over conviction; amphibious in ideology, identity and prejudice.

Frogman, branded an “anti-national” and a convenient distraction, personifies shifting notions of the “other” under an increasingly authoritarian gaze. Through dark humour, vibrant pop aesthetics and satirical storytelling, the series probes identity politics, surveillance, ecological anxiety and propaganda. Delivered as 20+ digital works—online, printed, and painted around Kochi—it invites viewers to question the ease with which villains are made, and myths maintained.

ഓൺലൈൻ, അച്ചടി, കൊച്ചിത്തെരുവുകളിലെ ചുവർച്ചിത്രങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങീ വിവിധ ഉപാധികളിലൂടെയാണ്  ജോർജ്ജ് മാത്തൻ്റെ രചനകൾ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇരുണ്ട ഫലിതം, ജനപ്രിയതാസൗന്ദര്യശാസ്ത്രം, രൂക്ഷപരിഹാസം എന്നിവ മുഖേന അവ സ്വത്വരാഷ്ട്രീയം, പാരിസ്ഥിതിക സംഘർഷം, രഹസ്യനിരീക്ഷണം, വ്യാജ പ്രചരണയുക്തികൾ എന്നിവയിലേക്കു ചുഴിഞ്ഞിറങ്ങുന്നു

അതിദേശീയതാവാദം ആവേശിച്ച ഒരുസമ്പദ് വ്യവസ്ഥ തകരുന്നതിൻ്റെ കൽപ്പിത കഥയിലൂടെയാണ്  ഈ പരമ്പര വികസിക്കുന്നത്. ആംഫി ബി. എൻ. ജോസ് എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം, ആർക്കും പിടികൊടുക്കാതെ വിദഗ്ദ്ധമായി മുങ്ങിനടക്കുന്ന ഫ്രോഗ്മാനെനെതിരേയുള്ള സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ അക്രമോൽസുകമായ പ്രചാരണപദ്ധതിയിൽ ജോലിക്കു ചേരുന്നു. അയാൾ ജോലിയിലെ സ്ഥിരതയ്ക്കും ഉയർച്ചയ്ക്കും വേണ്ടി വ്യാജവാർത്തകളിലൂടെയും കൃത്രിമവിവരങ്ങളിലൂടെയും ഭയാന്തരീക്ഷം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും അങ്ങനെ, ചങ്ങാത്തമുതലാളിത്തക്കാരായ മേലധികാരികളുടെ ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങൾ വേഗത്തിൽ നേടിയെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. പക്ഷേ രാത്രി, താൻ അപവദിക്കാൻ കിണഞ്ഞു ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന അതേ വ്യക്തിയായി അയാൾ മാറുകയായി. ഉൽക്കർഷേച്ഛയ്ക്കും ഒത്തുതീർപ്പിനുമിടയിൽപ്പെട്ട്, ആംഫി നമ്മുടെ കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ വൈരുദ്ധ്യങ്ങളുടെ - അർദ്ധവിശ്വാസത്തിൻ്റെയും അർദ്ധസന്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെയും, ബോധ്യങ്ങളുടേതിനെക്കാൾ സൗകര്യങ്ങളുടെ, പ്രത്യയശാസ്ത്രപരവും സ്വത്വപരവുമായ ഉഭയജീവിതത്തിൻ്റെ - ആൾരൂപമായിത്തീരുകയാണ്.
