I am getting excited about our hosting the 67th Annual District Conference here in Tidewater, April 27-30.  Chair, Joanne Baines and Co-Chair Ellen Barta, are doing a fantastic job getting us started.  It's going to be an amazing conference!

Please remember to view the Call to Conference in the District Service Bulletin email which was emailed to all members on January 30th.  If you didn't receive it, please look below in our newsletter.  You will find a lot of information regarding the "Happenings" at Conference. 

I am asking you to register for Conference as soon as you can as the beach college festival "Something In the Water"  is happening the same weekend as our conference.  

Keep in mind these important deadlines; 

--The hotel will be giving any remaining rooms to people who have tickets for the event, and have nowhere to stay.

--Conference Registration ends March 31st.  A late fee will be applied after March 31.

--Hotel Registration ends on March 27th.

I hope to see you all at our Meeting,  Monday night, February 20th.  If you plan to attend via Zoom, look for an email from Shari with the Zoom link (different from the link above).  Shari will send the link about 5:30pm.

Brenda Ruby, our District's Second Vice Governor, will be attending our meeting.  We look forward to seeing her!

67th Annual District Two Conference

Don't forget to register for the upcoming conference, April 27-30, at the Holiday Inn Conference Hotel, Greenwich Road, Virginia Bech.

This year our Tidewater club has the honor of hosting the conference.  We want to make this the best conference ever!!  In order to do so, we need 100% club participation.  

We have lined up some outstanding speakers and workshops, as well as some fun entertainment at the banquet on Saturday night.  This is an election year and our own Shair Gomez is running for Second Vice Governor. 

There are still many tasks to be completed, so please contact Joanne Baines, Ellen Barta, or sign up at the February Business meeting.  We also need members to sign up to bring food and/or drink items for the hospitality Suite, items for the Silent Auction that benefits the International Foundation.

So, register today and let's show everyone why Tidewater is the best club in the district!
