Ben Morgan was found dead at his home near here Friday, his death was supposed to have been caused by heart failure. Mr. Morgan was 45 years of age, and had many friends who extend their sympathy to his bereaved wife and little helpless children.

Benjamin T. P. Morgan, age 45, died at his home near Hamil, AR. October 9, 1908. He was born January 18, 1863 in Union Co, IL. son of Gordon and Artamissa (Elkins) Morgan and was a farmer. He is survived by his wife Minnie Bell (Parks) Morgan and children, Felix Monroe, Millie Mae, Jesse Marion, William Henry and Lori Irene Morgan. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery. Jesse Marion Morgan, 91, a resident of Pocahontas Convalescent Center, died Monday, October 4, 1993 at Randolph County Medical Center. He was born July 22, 1902 in the Fender Community, a son of the late Ben and Minnie Bell (Parks) Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae (Gates) Morgan of the home; a daughter, Jane Henderson, also of Pocahontas; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister Elizabeth Ferguson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with James Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Obituary of Mae Morgan: Pocahontas Star Herald Newspaper, Pocahontas, AR, November 16, 1995: Mae Morgan, 93, of 101 E. Locust St, Coulterville, IL. died at 9 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 1995 in the Randolph County Nursing Home, Sparta, IL. Mrs. Morgan was born April 19, 1902, near Mount Vernon, AR, the daughter of John Calvin Wells and Mona (Lester) Wells. She married William Henry Morgan on March 11, 1923, in Evening Star, AR. He proceeded her in death June 4, 1954. She is survived by one son, Charles W. Morgan of Des Plaines, IL,; five daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Juanita) Thomas of Coulterville, IL, Mrs. Warren (Reba) Alsup of Monument, CO, Mrs. Helmuth (Annie) Gaiser of Chicago, IL, Mrs. William (Noie) Hahnfeldt of Grayslake, IL, and Ms. Bonnie Morgan of Algonquin, IL. 26 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, one son and one daughter, 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 1995 at the Coulterville United Methodist Church with Rev. Loretta Cummins officiating. Interment was in the Coulterville Cemetery, with Pyatt Funeral Home in charge. Grandson were pallbearers.
