Graveside Services for Mrs Grace Evelyn Welch, 48, who died Thursday in Houston, TX. will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Edwin Bond, minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Welch, the daughter of Dallas and Norean (Tuders) Gordon, was born 05 Nov 1923, Marshall, MO. She married 04 Nov 1942, David "Red" Welch. Mrs. Welch had lived in Houston for the past 10 years.

Lawrence Elwood Welch committed suicide. He had a job working on a barge on the Mississippi River, near Wapello, IA. A drag line hit him in the head, knocking him into the River. He was in a hospital for a few years, but never was mentally stable after that. He came home to his wife and had more children, but was divorced and living with his Mother when he died.
