Nov: Halloween Party well attended. Veterans Day/Early Bird dinner combined. 11/30 Holiday Boutique Fair rescheduled to this date; $25/table. Luella Dilling Scholarship rec'd additional donations.  Sep: CAGS students will receive the Luella Dillings Scholarship. Held a 9/11 Memorial.  Aug: Horseshoe/Membership drive 9/24 to bring an eligible guest, 2pm BBQ. Bingo continues. 10/29 Halloween Party. Boutique Fair on 11/12-13. May: Flea Mkt. continues on 1st Sunday. Poppy program on point. Poker Run "Born to Ride" recruitment effort for Riders per Stacy, June 25. 3rd Sat. Mercy House donation dropoff. All officers re-elected except for new treasurer, Tanya. New appointments: Goodwill ‘ambassador’ Kerry, Lizanne as Sgt-of-Arms, Melissa as asst. Chaplain. Bingo nights are an opportunity to recruit members. St. Patrick's Day dinner, $10pp. Feb: Completed Girls State interviews. Nov/Dec/Jan: Hosted events benefiting CVV--Bingo Night, Crabfeed & karaoke, ~60 ppl. Supply donations made to CVV as well. Nov: P105 Cmdr Smith named SM County Veteran of the Year, U105 Wendy Weller & her husband Andrew (SAL) named Patriots of the Year.  Elks Lodge Packing Day created 200 boxes for deployed & 120 gift bags for vets in need. 11/11 Veterans Day Ceremony at RWC's Courthouse Square. No Dec. mtg. Oct: Oktoberfest dinner, Paws for Purple Heart demo and Post $1000 donation to PPH. Oct Cmdr's Coffee speaker: "Rebuilding Together." Apr: Apr 9: Poppy letter assembly with assistance from Xi Pi Delta sorority. 4/20 Romie’s memorial held. 6/11: Dinner/Dance “Rip Tides” live band, $45pp  Mar: 3/12 assist in creating 15,000 bags of rice for needy families (donors: Lions Club & Skylawn Memorial Park). 5/14 Blue Star Moms Packing Day for soldiers' care boxes & homeless vets car bags. 6/11 Dinner/Dance w/the "Rip Tides." Feb: Post Family donated towards Tonga Relief. Coffee Drive for VA-Menlo Park. California Girls State: four Delegates selected. Jan: BSM: 65 boxes overseas, 50 bags for homeless vets. UNIT 238, 555 BUEL AVENUE, PACIFICA

Nov/Dec: November and December we teamed with local woman’s group Mizpah and VFW District 10 Auxiliary, to collect goods for Colma Veteran’s Village with deliveries in Nov & Dec. 12/1 holiday buffet dinner and wrapped VA gifts. Additionally, wrapped 15 holiday gifts for adults at the Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center, serving adults with developmental disabilities and/or traumatic & acquired brain injuries. Often the gifts they receive are the only gifts they receive all year. Gifts provided by Unit members and a local Girl Scout Service Unit. 01/28 catered Chinese dinner by local Kenny’s (local Chinese restaurant), Reservations required: cost is $15.00  RSVP to Al Hale at 650-359-3277. No-host cocktails at 5:30, dinner at 6pm. 2/12 St. Valentine’s fundraiser, 4pm. Proceeds benefit Boys State & Girls State.  Oct: Will drop off food/paper product donations to Colma Veterans Village this month. 12/1 Potluck. 1/28 Chinese New Year dinner, 2/12 St. Valentine's Day potluck fundraiser benefiting Girls & Boys State programs. Provided 400 poppies to SSF employees to wear on Veterans Day (SSF donated $75). Marched in the Fogfest. Early Bird dinner canceled.  Sep: District officers attended new officer installation and heard CAGS presentation. Participating in the 9/24 Fogfest parade with VFW.  Aug: Passing of Chaplain & Membership Judy Bond, BSM as well. Sold fireworks w/AL as fundraiser. July 5 beach cleanup. Aug 11 Installation of Officers. Planned Nov Colma Veterans Village delivery and care packages for active-duty soldiers. Nov 12 Early Bird dinner. Past President Pauline is in a care facility and her daughter Roselinda is recovering from COVID. Jun: Elections resulted in new President Janice Key and Secretary Jeanne Matysiak. Member Sylvia Youngdahl celebrated her 100th bday. May: President Pauline is hospitalized again; circulated a card & Janice to deliver. Held their CAGS/CABS fundraiser. May 7, Cinco de Mayo with 45 attending. Tentative July fireworks sale. Aux member Greta’s 100-yr bday party held. Poppy program on target. UNIT 472 GEORGE TADLOCK VIRTUAL UNIT

Dec: Laid wreaths at Rest Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery, Rockwall, TX for Wreaths Across America. Annual Zoom Ugly Sweater Night held. Sep: Officer installation held. CAGS presentations for subsequent meetings. Met 50% renewal rate already. Considering Holiday Ugly Christmas sweater social again. Aug: 7/12, officer installation: President Kerry Finley, VP Allyn Kau, Secretary Valerie Hardy, Treasurer Diane Rapport. 6/27, 12 Unit members served on ALA CAGS staff and two (Allyn & Val) on ALA Girls Nation staff. Val Hardy will serve as Western Division Juniors Chair for FY22-23. Val made 40 cards to be given to caregivers.  Apr/May: Selected Girls State delegation. Wrote appreciation cards (included gift cards to restaurants, Starbucks, Amazon) for all members of 340th TF Medstrike CTAT Sacramento Unit! These men and women administered COVID vaccinations. Updated our Bylaws. Supporting Fort Irwin's upcoming Military Kids Appreciation event: Unit members will stuff 20 backpacks full of school supplies to be given out to elementary, middle, and high school students on April 15. Feb/Mar: Selected six CAGS delegates via Zoom interviews. MLK National Day of Service: members donated food to local food banks, and one member joined other members of her community to support a veterans home in LA. They provided canned soup and oatmeal to 48 vets in the apartment complex. Dec/Jan: Ugly Sweater Zoom social and donations for VA-Menlo Park holiday gift program. Gearing up to manage the statewide 2022 Girls State program. Sep: Continue to host Girls State Citizens to join their meetings. 1.6.23

Dec: Holiday dinner had 85-90 ppl. Thurs is Darts Night. Ping Pong on Fridays with free BBQ by Phil and karaoke. NYE had karaoke too.  Oct/Nov: Oktoberfest dinner a success. Jewelry Sale netted raised $2000+ for seriously-injured Legionnaire. Veterans Day free meal. Free Thanksgiving meal for vets @ 2pm.  Aug: 7/4 parade & BBQ. Blind Auction, raised $750. 9/3 Jewelry Sale. Live music starts 4pm. Jun: Memorial Day social success. Aux will host a July 4 social. Music performances moved indoors. May: Free music every weekend, 2pm. Raised $400 in donation jar at last event. Poppy promo during music & Marylan raises $100+ by approaching attendees. “Coastside Gives:” $4800 raised online & $8500 donation for Post 474 roof. May 15, hamburgers/hotdogs with music. 4/30 Memorial held for President Marylan's spouse, Phil. Mar: St. Patrick's Day free meal for veterans. Planning an April Silent Auction. Band Anniversary tonight (details tbd).  Oct/Nov: Participated in Elks Lodge Packing Day. 11/13 free drinks for vets for Sadie Hawkins Happy Hour courtesy of the ALA. Sep: Donated $500-worth of coffee to VA-Menlo Park. CAGS presentations this month and next. 9/29 movie night, "M*A*S*H." Aug: RWC July 4 Parade. Cmdr. Rich’s band won an award at the parade. Marci coordinating AL, BSM and ALA to march together in 2023. Breakfast tomorrow, every other Sunday. 9/9 karaoke. Labor Day BBQ. Jun:  Held Memorial Day event. Officers re-elected for their posts. 6/18 Karaoke event. 6/19 Breakfast for Father's Day. July 4 participation in Redwood City Parade. Next Breakfasts are 7/10 and 7/24.
