The monography serie

The monography serie is a project started by abdel Hernández San Juan and Surpik angelini from the transart foundatión of Houston for art and anthropology since 1998, the goal and porposivennes of the serie was defined to make posible a more focussed académic attention to the comprehension, interpretation, studies and research of certain well choiced artists, abdel and angelini started thus to choice artists to write about them in a more deeper form than the usual contigencies of catalogues texts and of informacional literature, it was conceived thus to unveil the posibilities of doing análysis of languages, signs, símbols and visual codes adressing an audience of research as well to understand the artists works from the creative processes, exploring the interdisciplinary posibilities between art critique, semiótic and anthropology writings approachings art, therefore, to find intersdisciplinary interest at the choiced artists works, process and languages research 

La serie monografias fue iniciada por abdel Hernández San Juan y Surpik angelini en la fundación transarte desde 1998, la serie fue concebida con el propósito y objetivo de propiciar una aproximación más académica, enfocada en el análisis del lenguaje en las obras desarrollando aproximaciones más dedicadas al estudio, comprensión e interpretación de artistas escogidos más allá del usual texto de catálogo contigente a los eventos o el texto informacional, abdel y Surpik comenzaron a escribir desde transarte este tipo de monografias y a discutirlas desarrolladas como formas interdisciplinarias de research sobre los artistas en términos de escritura, así como en tener un tipo de aproximación a los procesos creativos de los artistas escogidos que explicite y discuta los valores interdisciplinarios de sus researchs en lenguajes visuales
