Abdel Hernandez San Juan is a Cuban-American hard sciences theoretician, thinker, writer, theoretical linguist, sociologist, and cultural anthropologist. He was born in 1968 and emigrated to the United States in 1998, settling in Houston, Texas 1.

San Juan has also been a complimentary research associate scholar of the faculty of anthropology, school of social science at Rice University, Houston 1. He co-founded the Transart Foundation of Houston for research of art and anthropology in 1997 and served as its artistic director 1.
