1g of instant yeast
1 tsp of salt
350 ml of water
For the pizza sauce
800g tinned chopped tomatoes
Dried oregano
Onion powder
Chilli flakes
Garlic paste
Extra virgin olive oil
Plus whatever toppings you want
Method
Mix together the flour, yeast and salt in a large bowl
Add the water and mix wit a wooden spoon until the are no clumps and the dough has come together
Shape into a ball, leave in the bowl and cover the top of the bowl with cling film
Leave it to rise for 18-24 hours at room temperature (best to make it the night before)
Heat plenty of extra virgin olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat
Fry a couple of generous squirts of garlic paste, and a generous sprinkling of chilli flakes for 30 seconds, then add chopped tomatoes
Add some onion powder and dried oregano and let simmer for 35 mins
Let cool, then blend until smooth
Once the dough and sauce are ready, preheat the oven to 240℃
Split the dough into four and knead each quarter into a circular shape and ensure it is suitably thin
Ladle on some pizza sauce and spread around, leaving a 1-2cm gap for the crust
Add your chosen topping (we recommend mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms and basil)
Bake in the oven for 7-10 mins or until the cheese is nicely browned
