Classical Philosophy

The aim of classical education is for students to immerse themselves in some of the most notable works in the Western tradition. By engaging students in traditional literature, language, History, art, music, philosophy, mathematics, and science, students find themselves prepared to enter the world ready to contemplate and articulate their ideas and ideals. Moreover, as citizens who are dedicated to the development of virtue, living a well-ordered life and the cultivation of knowledge, it is our hope that the NOCA graduate will embody these principles as he/she looks to begin a new chapter in his/her life.

Transitioning to the World Ahead

Although, the mission of the school remains chiefly dedicated to the development of virtuous citizens who pursue what is good, true and beautiful, NOCA recognizes the importance of explicit instruction in career readiness and college preparatory tasks as mandated by the state of Ohio. Therefore, NOCA's College and Career Digital Resource Center was developed to assist students and families with some of the many choices that they have before them. It contains resources that families can reference to assist them with understanding graduation requirements, the college application process and career preparedness .

Families are encouraged to be part of their children's journey toward graduation and what lies beyond.
