The Story
Job is an ancient book - perhaps the oldest in the Bible. It tells the story of a righteous man whom Satan, with God's permission, torments mercilessly. Various friends come to counsel him. Their words raise lots of questions about why good people suffer. In the end, God reveals Himself to Job, teaching him crucial lessons.
This book raises difficult, but important, questions about suffering.
