THANK YOU
for your generous support and participation in this year's Operation Holiday!
We are sure our selected family will feel the love this season when they receive all of the wonderful gifts and supplies.
Thank you to our amazing Room Captains and parent volunteers (Luca's, Luciana's, Scarlett's, and Sunny's moms and Theo Barr's mom and dad!) for organizing and running this effort and to our awesome elves, including ones from 7th grade, for wrapping everything.
This was definitely one of the best days of the season!
We had an eventful week in 5th grade! In Science, the students completed their biome projects and are excited to present them next week. In Math, we wrapped up Chapter 5 and took the second decimals test. And now we are combining holidays and decimals! If you need help planning a holiday road trip, just ask your 5th grader! They’re researching the best U.S. cities to visit during the holidays and using decimals to calculate important details like miles per gallon, hotel costs, and total driving distances and time.
We also had two visits from Officer Mike, who went through the first two L.E.A.D. lessons He led discussions on setting reachable goals and making responsible choices.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Crum, Miss Conti, & Mr. J.
This week we had our first two lessons with officer Mike from the Harding PD. Be sure to ask your 5th grader what they learned this week.
