HTS 5th Grade Friday Update!

Happy Friday 

This week saw fifth graders:

• • Constructing their Geometrocities,

  • Continuing our novel study with The One and Only Ivan,

  • Crafting first drafts of their persuasive essay,

  • Prepping for our big  SPACE field trip (4/24),

  • Wrapping up the Branches of Government,

  • Showing off their musical talents at the Spring Concert,

  • And enjoying TWO visits from Officer Mike for L.E.A.D.!

Today, we said our final goodbyes to Mr. J. It was incredible to see so many students dress up as their favorite teacher—a true testament to the impact he’s had. We will deeply miss Mr. J., along with the humor, knowledge, and memorable experiences he shared with us. 

Good luck on your next adventures Mr. J. We will miss you!!!
