HTS 5th Grade Friday Update!

Happy Friday 

This week saw 5th graders:

• Learning about line plots and coordinate planes, (test next Friday)

• Applying that knowledge to a room-size game of Battleship

• Finishing the first draft of their biographies,

• Exploring the initial parts of the Space unit in Science,

• Continuing to explore the Southern colonies,

• AND celebrating Valentine's Day.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day / 4-1/2 day weekend!

• 13: Early Dismissal ~ 12:45p

• 16-17: NO SCHOOL ~ Winter Break

• 27: LEAD # 5

MARCH

• 2-5: Book Fair

• 13-15: Middle School Musical 

• 25-27: Conferences ~ 12:45 dismissal each day

• Week of 30: Spring Break!

APRIL

• 14: Spring Concert Grades 3-5 ~ 9:30a HTS Gym

• 24: 5th GRADE FIELD TRIP!
