2023 Targets
9-3-2023 (Scope Re-zero for 130 yards)
With the option of being able to deer hunt in South Carolina several times this year. The scope has been re-zeroed, yet again, to 130 yards to be able to reach out and touch a deer at 150 yards. This photo is of my daughter grouping at 50 yards without adjusting the scope zeroed for 130 yards.

I also grouped some High Velocity loads for the Marlin 1894CB. The scope on the CB is zeroed in for 50 yards for hunting in the mountain woods. Most shots will be less than 50 yards, and the H.V. loads were never very accurate beyond 50 yards.
12-29-2022 (Scope Re-zero for 100 yards)
With the cost and availability of primers and powder, my 200 yard plus target shooting has all but come to a complete stop. Thus, the scope has been zeroed back to 100 yards for hunting. Hunting ranges where I hunt in the mountains is between 25 and 150 yards...but typically less than 50 yards in the woods. Both of my deer hits this year have been between 30 and 40 yards. I may reset the 6x scope for 50 yards for coyotes and beavers throughout 2023. Check in on the 2023 Hunting Season for more action!!!
