TEAM SASK

TEAM SASK IN PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

With 217 athletes, 74 members of coaching staff and support staff, 20 sports, and 26 mission staff coming from 60 different communities across Saskatchewan, forming a full contingent of 317 participants. Team Sask is truly a province-wide team ready to compete against the best in the country!

Team Sask is a collection of the province’s best young athletes from a variety of sports and is led by the Chef and Assistant Chefs de Mission. Team Sask is a program of the Saskatchewan Games Council, the lead planning, programming, and logistical support for Team Sask's participation in the Canada Games and the regulatory body for the Saskatchewan Games program, which sees participation from thousands of athletes, coaches, and officials at each event and takes place in communities across the province every two years, alternating between summer and winter. The Saskatchewan Games Council is a non-profit organization, and revenue generated through its facility and programming is reinvested into amateur sport and community programs across the province.

Team Sask is represented by the strong green, white, and gold we see everyday across our beautiful province. We are building leaders and experiences at these Games. Being apart of Team Sask, we all strive to:

Being apart of Team Sask is a high honour, you represent the best in Saskatchewan sport and are the next generation of Canadian champions! #GoTeamSask
