ILLUMINATION MUSIC AND CULTURAL FESTIVAL
The 2023 Canada Games is proud to present IllumiNATION – a 14-day celebration of PEI and Canadian arts and culture. From February 19 –March 4, 2023, the province will be aglow with music, culinary, visual art, and interactive exhibits, shining a light on the diverse and thriving arts scene and cultures in Prince Edward Island and Canada. IllumiNATION includes more than 100 acts performing over 14 days in 13 different Island communities. All festival events are FREE non-ticketed events and first come first served. COMPETITION
We encourage you to cheer on other teams in other events (Team Sask, other provinces and territories alike). Spectating athletes get transportation and entry at no charge to other competition venues, if seating is available. We want to fill the seats with green, and see a sea of green! Green is the colour!

Lounge seating, puzzles, board games, and painting.
New Residence Lounges- Five per town (North and South)
Gaming rooms (Nintendo Switch Consoles); soft seating & Smart TV’s, games, yoga/quiet space, and charging stations.
New Residence 2nd Floor Lobby Lounge
Board games, card games, and lounge seating. This is a communal space for both males/females within the new residence.
New Residence Theatre
Daily Canada Games live-streaming and results, and nightly movie nights. This is a communal space for both males/females within the new residence.
Chi-Wan Young - Fitness Centre
Fitness centre information: Open daily 7am-9pm. No expense to athletes/coaches.
Bell Aliant Aquatic Centre:
Pool Information - Open daily 5:30am-9pm. Open to both the public as well Canada Games participants. No expense to athletes/coaches.
The Quad
Outdoor space in the heart of the UPEI campus, light activations, hot chocolate and s’mores over a fire pit, outdoor activities and exhibits.
