TEAM SASK UNIFORMS & MERCH

CEREMONIAL UNIFORM

Each province and territory produces its own uniform! Team Sask represents green, white, and gold! #GoTeamSask

The Team Sask ceremonial uniform will include: jacket, bunny hug, Under Armour performance long sleeve, basic green t-shirt, and pants. Alongside, the custom toque, mitts, socks and backpack! We are extremely #SaskProud because half our Team Sask uniform is produced by a local Saskatchewan company, KENORA MANAGEMENT GROUP LTD. and the other half by a local Canadian company, BARDOWN HOCKEY INC.

Each piece within the uniform kit was thoroughly constructed with you in mind! The jacket is Sask green, water resistant and warm for the cool Atlantic winds. The bunny hug is a staple piece that everyone will be begging you for! The Under Armour long sleeve is lightweight and easy to throw on and rep Saskatchewan. The green t-shirt is a staple piece that ensures you stand out! The pants are easy to match anything in you brought along with you to the Games. Lastly, the custom pieces are special that no one else in Saskatchewan or Canada will own.

Uniform trading has traditionally been seen as its own sport at the Canada Games (along with pin trading, see below)! People tend to get competitive searching for their favourite pieces! Uniform and pin trading is a great way to break the ice, meet new people, and make friends from all across the country.

Note: Your Chef de Mission will communicate what uniform pieces Team Sask will be required to wear to Opening and Closing Ceremonies and medal presentations. Hint: you can make pre-trades, and exchange later in competition!

All members of Team Sask will be provided with a uniform kit that can be kept as souvenirs or traded.

PINS

Each province and territory produces its own set of pins! Pin trading (along with uniform trading) has traditionally been seen as its own sport at the Canada Games! People tend to get competitive searching for the best and most elusive pins (there are thousands of athletes here, after all…), but pin trading is also a great way to break the ice, meet new people, and make friends from all across the country.

The 2023 Games will be no exception! The Team Sask 2023 pin set, produced by a local Saskatchewan company: THE PIN PEOPLE

The five-piece pin set features two snowglobes made up of four total pieces. One features a Saskatchewan winter wonderland while the other has an ode to Prince Edward Island with the Confederation Bridge, lobster and the 2023 Canada Games mascot, Wowkwis (Whoa-quis). Woekwis is named after the Mi'kmaq First Nations peoples’ word for “red fox". The snowglobes are anchored by the very popular Prairie Lilly.

The fifth pin, the snowflake, is the team's mission pin. The limited-edition and rare piece will be very sought-after in PEI.

Athletes, coaches, and support staff will be equiped with these beautiful pins as they head to PEI for the start of the Canada Winter Games on February 18th.

All members of Team Sask will be provided with each of the pins that can be kept as souvenirs or traded.
