College Credit Classes

Classes for College Credit (Dual Credit) College classes are offered in conjunction with colleges and universities. Students receive college credit as well as high school credit. Most colleges will transfer these credits toward their degree programs,  however, it is recommended the student check with the college he/she plans to attend to see if they will accept the college credit or go to https://dhe.mo/gov/core42.php for Missouri transfer courses.  

The cost to the student varies, but is often less than ½ the cost of regular tuition. The Dual Credit is a program specifically designed for high school students who are ready for the challenge of college academics.   Students must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. You may enroll in dual credit classes with the exception of English Composition, which is for high school credit only.
