A+ Program
Students who qualify under the A+ Schools Program are eligible for tuition money to any participating Missouri public community college or vocational/technical school, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools upon graduation from high school. All funds for the A+ Schools Program are subject to yearly state budgetary appropriations. In accordance with Missouri State guidelines, a school district may have a process to review an appeal by a student to meet the A+ School Program guidelines.
A+ REQUIREMENTS
Graduate from an A+ High School with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Average 95% attendance during four years of high school
Perform and document 50 hours of unpaid school-based tutoring
Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoid the unlawful use of drugs (including alcohol)
Make a good faith effort to first secure all available federal postsecondary student financial assistance funds that do not require repayment
18-year-old males register for Selective Service
Attend an A+ Designated High School for any two of the four years prior to graduation
Sign an A+ Schools Contract
Achieve a score of proficient or advanced on an end of course mathematics exam. or higher level of DESE approved exam
