Historical enquiry: 

• What do we already know about the local area?

• Make links to their own memories and sources about themselves

• Invite local people in to discuss changes over time

• Explore photographs to look at changes in buildings over time

• Look at specific buildings and explore how they have changed over time

• Explore the area using aerial maps from different times to see how it has changed

• Ask questions such as: Why was it named in this way? Why is it here? Why is it significant?
