- Have students explore what has been shared about themselves online, either through what they have shared or what others have shared. What does their digital footprint look like?
- Students can trace their own foot or use a template like the one here. This can be done digitally or simply using paper.
- For digital, use an app like Pic Collage for students to create their footprint with tips about how to leave positive digital footprints or with text or images to show what their own digital footprints look like - the various ways they use the internet. See the example below.
- Print these and display them (classroom wall, floor, path leading to classroom, etc) to show how we leave our footprints behind when we go online.
