Grade 3 - Rings of Responsibility - My Rings of Responsibility Student Handout
Technology integration ideas
Have students download The My Rings of Responsibility Handout or take a screenshot of it on their device. Using Pic Collage Edu, they can add mark on the ring where they think each statement belongs. You can also use the image below to ask students to find examples of how they can show responsibility to themselves, their friends and family and to the larger community. This can be done using text and/or images.
You could also use Popplet to organize ideas. Students could add Rings of Responsibility and the center box and then add the other three boxes. From there they can add ideas which connect to each.
You can use Padlet for students to collaboratively organize and share their ideas
You can use Flipgrid to have students share their ideas and be able to see the ideas of other students in the class.
If you are doing the Rings of Responsibility lesson as part of a larger unit, consider using Book Creator to create a digital book over time which connect the Rings of Responsibility to the larger unit.
Students can add their creation from Pic Collage to SeeSaw for Reflection. You can have them use the Drawing Tool to create a Screencast in SeeSaw to point to various areas of their picture and to add their voice to reflect on their understanding of the Rings of Responsibility.
Once students have gained an understanding of how they can use their devices and the internet safely and responsibly, have them look at the UWCT Primary School Digital Citizenship and Responsible Use Agreement to show the connection between the Rings of Responsibility discussion and the agreement which they should follow and sign with parents.
