There are two options for this scenario.  Read the options and select the one that works best in your situation.

Option 1.  Use a Different Browser (the simplest solution)

Select a browser that the student is not using for Canvas.  Select an alternate browser that is installed on the computer or tablet.  For example:

• • If the student is logged in to Canvas using the Chrome browser, the Learning Coach can use Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari. 

  • If the student is using Microsoft Edge, the Learning Coach can use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

Option 2.  Use Guest Mode (easy, too)

Guest Mode on PC computers allows two users to log in to Canvas on the same browser.  Use this step if your device does not have an alternate browser.  (This is rare, but can happen.)
