Pair Additional Students With the Observer Account

Log into the child's Canvas Student account and obtain the pairing code as follows:
Click the Account button in the green navigation bar.
Click Settings.
On the Settings page, click the Pair With Observer button. The 'Pair With Observer' button will be on the right side of the window or it will be at the bottom. The browser window's size determines the position of the Pair With Observer button on the page.
Repeat step 1 for every additional student that needs to be paired. Be sure to save each number so you can enter it in the next step.
Pair your Canvas Observer account with the additional student(s) by doing the following:
a. Log in to your Observer account if you are not already logged in.
b. Click Account in the green navigation bar.
c. Click the Observing link in the pop-out window that appears. (Circled in the screenshot.)
d. Enter the pairing code in the Student Pairing Code field where the note in the screenshot says, "Pairing Code Goes Here." (Enter one code at a time if you will be pairing multiple students.)
e. Click the + Student button.
f. Repeat steps d and e until you pair all of the students you should be observing.
When you have completed this step, you should see the names of all the students you are supposed to observe as the Learning Coach. If you do not see everyone's name, repeat the steps until everyone is paired. Scroll down and click NEXT if you are finished.
IMPORTANT!
If you see the name of a student that you should not be observing, please contact the Learning Coach Support team immediately. We will remove the student from your account.
