We addressed time management, planning, and organization in several sections of The Orientation Shoppe:
There is a lot to learn on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Although teachers post due dates for everything on the Canvas Calendar and they remind students about assessments and major assignments that are on the horizon, the responsibility for moving from one lesson to another and for submitting assessments and projects on schedule falls on the shoulders of the student and the Learning Coach at home. Using tools at home to facilitate good time management and organization is highly recommended.
Several online resources address time management for students. Most of them pertain to managing time and organizing oneself for homework, but the recommendations will work well for our UVA at-home learners as well. The following articles are very informative.
