The photos show our theoretic nutrition facts, based on the theoretical nutritional values released by the FDA, and prototype for our elective subject. It is a snack mainly catered to children who are malnourished, as we wanted to make a snack that every child would want to eat but also be healthy at the same time. Although the idea sounds like it's something too sweet, I think that with experimentation on the ratio, it can still be considered healthy.

Our spray dryer system already integrates the use of two cyclones. Even if milk powder particles are not part of PM10 parameter, we still decided the use of cyclones because some studies suggest that milk powder particles may contribute to respiratory problems to workers.

The main reason why the dairy industry is considered a polluting industry is its generation of wastes with high COD and BOD. During our Iwaste project, I, with Mr. Reyes, Ms. Pagkatipunan, and Mr. Herrera, designed a wastewater treatment plant wherein the effluent will be discharged to a class D water body. According to the DENR website, the only parameter that Pinacanuan River did not adhere to is fecal coliforms. We designed the treatment plant to ensure that we say true to the parameters given as to not contribute to additional pollution.
