Shown on the left is the FTIR results for our sample. It shows different peaks which signifies functional groups indicative of certain compound or molecules. For example, the peak at wave number 1636 cm-1 is indicative of Amide I which is what is mostly used for seaweeds as it is more prominent.
The graph shows the temperature profile of a countercurrent operation of a shell and tube heat exchanger. As seen in the graph, although subtle, there are fluctuations in the values, which may be due to the fluctuating flow rate, as observed during the experiment. The values should show a trend of gradually decreasing to its final and stable temperature.Â
