You may file for LOA through CRS. Click on LOA Application on the side menu.
You may opt to go on LOA for one sem or one year. If you choose to go on LOA for one sem, but wish extend your LOA the following sem, you may apply for a LOA extension through the same CRS module. Please make sure to apply for LOA extension if needed, otherwise you will be considered AWOL.
You may email statgraduate.upd@up.edu.ph so that the Director of Graduate Studies knows that you have a pending LOA application.
After the Director of Graduate Studies post advises your LOA application, it will go to through the College Secretary and/or Dean for approval. This may take some time. Follow up when the deadline for LOA is near. Make sure you complete the LOA application process by paying for the LOA before the deadline.
Note: Semesters on LOA are not counted in MRR. However, note that you may go on LOA for an accumulated total of four semesters only.
After your LOA period has ended, you will need to request for readmission. It is best to process your ahead of the registration period so that you don't encounter any issues during enrollment. To return from LOA, email the following documents to Ate Eve at ebtorres3@up.edu.ph:

Filled-out Student Directory with photo (you may download here)
If you are returning from LOA due to health reasons (regardless of the number of semesters) or if you were on LOA for at least two semesters, you need to obtain a medical certificate from the UP Diliman Health Service (click here to view the detailed instructions).
